This International Color Blindness Awareness Month, we are proud to recognize an incredible partnership that is helping make outdoor experiences more inclusive for everyone.
The recent installation at Panther Creek State Park in Tennessee features a SeeCoast Mark III Non-Coin-Operated Viewfinder with a Half Step Base, equipped with EnChroma® lenses, allowing visitors with color vision deficiency to experience enhanced color perception while enjoying the breathtaking views of Cherokee Lake.
A special thank you goes to the State of Tennessee for its leadership and commitment to accessibility. Tennessee was the first state to install EnChroma® lenses in SeeCoast viewfinders, setting a new standard for inclusive recreation and visitor experiences.
By investing in innovative solutions that help individuals with color blindness experience the natural beauty around them in new ways, Tennessee continues to demonstrate what meaningful accessibility looks like in parks and public spaces.
We are grateful for our partnership with EnChroma and proud to work alongside organizations that share our vision of making scenic destinations accessible to all.
👏 A special shout-out to the Tennessee State Parks team for doing a phenomenal job raising awareness about color blindness and creating opportunities for more people to connect with nature.
Through innovative accessibility initiatives like the Panther Creek installation, Tennessee continues to lead the way in ensuring that outdoor experiences can be enjoyed by everyone.
